ANNOUNCEMENT: Our next Parents’ Night Out will be 5-9 pm on Saturday, January 10th at the church. The cost is $10 per child. For more info and to sign up, click here before Saturday, January 3rd. Spots are limited, so sign up soon if you would like your children to attend.

REMINDER: Awaken kids will be doing another Christmas program this year during the Christmas Eve Service. This choir is for anyone in grades 1st-4th! Mark your calendar for the three rehearsals we will have throughout December (listed below).

Curriculum

PRESCHOOL & KINDERGARTEN TOPICS

Midway through November, we began a new unit titled “The Messiah Arrives," which will cover Jesus’s birth right at Christmas time and will last about 10 weeks.

ELEMENTARY TOPICS

Weeks 1-3: Lessons will be focused on several readings connecting to the earthly arrival of Jesus. Like previous years, we’ll be using “A Jesus Christmas” by Barbara Reaoch. Feel free to snag a copy for your family to do at home; we will just follow along at church on Dec 7, 14, and 21.

Week 4: The New Year’s lesson will be focused on being a new creation in Christ, based on 2 Corinthians 5:14-17.
